FASHION | How to style white sneakers?

Well hello there, I think I should change my name from I AM YASS to I AM MIA. Yeah, I know I took a one-week break from the blog, just because I wanted to. No reason; no nothing. I feel that we; bloggers, deserve it too! Right? Well maybe there was a reason. I had a little clothing crisis. That type of crisis where you don't know what to wear anymore even tho you have a full closet. Yes, I was coping with that! But these new kicks made it all better. Meet my new Adidas Originals Superstar in all white. Now as you can see, I styled these sneaker with my DIY mom jeans, a white flowy top and my, uhu colorfulllll, blazer! Oh, let's not forget my new accessory; the MIZU life bottle. I love how it is a matte black, steel bottle. And totally BPA free, how amazing is that? Now I don't have any excuse to not drink water ever again.

I AM | Fashion - Cowgirl

Howdy, cowgirls (maybe some boys too). I though I should greet y'all like that because I get an instant Cowgirl/farmer chickie vibe when I look at this outfit. Don't you think? The two little side braids with the plaid shirt tucked in. The only thing missing is my horse, lol. I should maybe ditch the heels too, if I had one tho. Which is not the case so my sweet babies stay on my feet. Wow, my imagination is on point today. Come back to earth Yasmine! (Are there even horses in space?)
I don't even know what I'm saying anymore, I should probably get some sleep. Which has probably left to space too, where ya at sleep? This wintertime-summertime change has ruined my sleeping patern. Never mind, just enjoy my outfit post and remember to stay positive and inspired!

I AM | Fashion - Happy one or two?

Well hello to you! I know you guys are not used to seeing my face on your screen on a Thursday but today is a special day so that's why I moved my post from Wednesday to today. Can you already guess why? No, I'm not pregnant, that's just my fat belly, lol. It's something else! If you have been following me from the very first post you would know that, yeeeees, today my blog turned 2 years old. Huray to I AM YASS! I may not be on the level of all the other bloggers but I am still very greatful! I want to thank all of my readers and everyone who has ever left a comment. That makes me smile like a fool behind my screen! I try to create useful and fun content for you guys to inspire you. I still love bloggin like I did the very first day. A BIG BIG BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE!

I AM | Fashion - The classics

Did you guys miss me? [Putting my angel-face on] I hope you did, lol! Let me explain why I was MIA for a whole week. Actually I don't even have a reason, I just wanted to relax for a week without thinking about pictures, photoshop, outfits and all the other stuff that are time consuming for a blog. Not that I don't like all that, it keeps me busy. I can put all my stress into writing and editing. In the hope that y'all can see the result. Anyways, enough about my absence more about the outfit now. As usual an all black outfit with an all-time classic item, yes the converse all stars. These shoes are just life! You can wear them with whatever you want. Isn't that awsomeeee? Yaaaas! Oh, and I actually lied a bit, it's not an all black outfit cuz well a little leopard never harmed anyone. [insert flirt-emoji] 
I'm wearing my new pair of sunglasses from Polette with a little hint of leopard. But where's the sun at tho? Hello, if you're reading this.. PLEASE come back!

I AM | Fashion - Thrifted diamond

Oh my! I'm so sorry for my absence, but I was so sick! It's actually very strange that we - bloggers - apologize for not posting even though we can't do nothing about it. Don't you think so too? But Anyways, let's not bring any negativity into this post and focus more on the outfit instead. Last week I went to two events, more about that soon, one of them was a press meeting with Goldsin. Hence the 24K Golden flashtattoo. Speaking of gold and other shiny things, I found a diamond in my local thriftstore! Yes, meet my new trenchcoat. It's light and bright, come on Spring! Another shocking thing, I'm wearing mint colored heels. No black this time!

I AM | Video - OOTD Black flower

Whoaaaaah! My first video ever! I struggled a little with the editing and other stuff but finally here it is. I know it's not filmed with a steady hand, but my sister aka photographer was freezing that day and was in an early stage of sickness. Yeah, I dragged that poor child outside for my blog (bad sister!). Anyhow, I hope you guys liked it and I know that my next video will be much better!

I AM | Fashion - Black flower

Here it is! The 'black flower blouse'-outfit. It's a simpel outfit but still has that something extra because of the flowerprint. And of course my beloved lace-up shoes. Man, how I love these shoes but they are sooo painfull. Can't walk on them for longer than a half day. Extra pair of shoes is required! Which means a bigger bag. Oh yeah, I almost forgot! Meet the new Celine bag. Well actually, it's my sister's bag. You know what they say, sharing is caring!

I AM | Fashion - Back to basics

Oops, there went something wrong with planning in my post for today. Sorry about that. But I couldn't keep this outfit to myself. What do you get when you put all your basics together in one outfit? Right, the perfect everyday outfit. Which you can easily put on to work, to school or even to a party. That's right! Get yourself some good basic items like a leather jacket, a pair of courtheels, a white shirt and a pair of black jeans. And to spice it up; a little a bit of lace and a red lipstick.

I AM | Fashion - Sleek

Here it finally is! The outfit, it has this sleek, layed back vibe. Just how I like it. Whenever I get the chance to wear my sunnies, those babies are on my nose for sure! I bought them last summer in Primark Eindhoven. Another great find are these pants. I found them in a thriftstore for like no money (I don't even remember how cheap they were). I wouldn't be 'I AM YASS' if I didn't put any edge in my outfit. The heavy silver necklace does the job.

I AM | Fashion - GTL with She Inside

How I love putting these 'Get the look'-outfits together. It's like online shopping but without spending the money, lol. I've made this look with items of She Inside, a nice online shop that has a wide range of clothing, accessories and shoes. This look can be worn perfectly this time of the year. The winter sun is out and it's not too cold. A warm camel jacket combined with a loose, oversized top. Perfect combo! To finish it of some sparkly accesories. Pff! Can't it just hang in my closet already?

I AM | Fashion - Wrap it up!

Oh my! It was pretty warm yesterday, or was it just me? Perfect day to wear my leather jacket in combination with my blanket cape. Oh and don't forget this stunning piece around my neck from Love & Harmony. She had a very cool 'Boho sale' yesterday with a sweet Henna artist. I kept my outfit pretty simple, with my beloved black, ripped jeans and a black top. Nothing more, nothing less. Just how I like it.

I AM | Fashion - Jelaba grunge

I am so getting used to blogging 4 times/week. It really feels good to share my passion and I'm taking this blogging thing serious now. I'm also glad that it helps me personally with my dip etc. About my outfit, I wore my beloved jersey Jelaba (Moroccan dress), it so nice! The fabric is soft, it hides all my curves and can be worn in so many ways. You should all buy one (even tho I don't know where I got mine from, ooops). But this outfit wouldn't be me if I didn't give the outfit an edgy touch. Yes, the Jelaba Grunge style was born that day.

I AM | Fashion - The sun in my eyes

Oh wauw, what a sunny day it was yesterday (still cold tho). I was forced to wear sunglasses and it happens to be that I just received a pair recently (read HERE) from Polette. Speaking about perfect timing, lol. The rest of my outfit is like the most basic -going to school- outfit. I was actualy going to school, I had two classes yesterday. One pretty boring and the other one was fun, it's called social objects. As task, we need to make a blog, fun right?

Oh how I love finding new webshops with tons of amazing stuff! It's dangerous but so fun at the same time. That's how I stumbled upon Choies. An online shop with a huge range of clothing, shoes and accessories. Heaven for a fashionista! 

 You can shop an entire outfit on just 1 online shop, perfect isn't it? 
Now to help you guys a little, I made a GTL (No, not Gym-Tanning-Laundry *Jersey shore vibe*, but a Get The Look) with Choies items. I wish I could click this outfit right into my closet. Like how AMAZING are those pair of heels?! And that leather jacket? Oh my!
